Engineering For Kids of Las Vegas West in Las Vegas, NV. Established in 2015. Throughout the past decade our family has grown to love the Las Vegas valley and has looked for ways to contribute to the community. We brought Engineering for Kids to Las Vegas in hopes of filling a growing need we saw among families. As a family ourselves, as educators, and as child advocates, we are very concerned with the success of our community's children. As we volunteer and work at schools in our valley, we empathize with the kids that become disengaged because they struggle in traditional classrooms or because they don't see the relevance to their lives. For these reasons, from the first time we heard of it, we fell in love with the premise of Engineering for Kids. The hands-on experience with the engineering design process shows students how learning can be fun, and how science and math are not just subjects in school, but tools for discovery.
